The project will mix a reflective/experimental video about unrequited love as a short video. The story is about one individual who expresses intense feelings toward their beloved and does not reciprocate the feelings in return. The project will focus on the mental mind and how it affects the individual in the long term.

The project is a way to show what an individual mental state looks like in a long-term relationship and the intense desires of the beloved. The project is not about the solution of knowing the signs from the outside of being in unrequited love but about understanding better how the mental state operates under challenging relationships. The idea is losing themselves with the emotions, feelings and anger towards the beloved that does not return the love to the individual. The viewer is there to experience being with the individual going through a challenging long-term state of mental mind, thinking, feeling and doings.

Society has a way of building a fairy-tail about “love” without knowing if they are experiencing unrequited love during a long-term relationship. The documentary would question their perception of what love means to them personally and reflect on their love life if there were hints of their mental mind during their relationship. This short story does not provide viewers with a solution but aims to inform them of what it is like to experience unrequited love.
